I still remember being all of 11 years when I managed to crash my PC (a novelty back then) in attempt to install IIS Server on it. What exactly was I doing? I was trying to 'host' my very own website built using Dreamweaver. The immense liking for computers and the internet stayed with me as I pursued my Bachelor of Engineeing degree in Information Technology. It left me with a desire to delve deeper into user experience and human interaction with computers. It was this desire that propelled me to leave behind the hustle-bustle and vividness of New Delhi and come to serene and youthful Ann Arbor in the fall of 2011. Here, at the Univerity of Michigan's School of Information I am studying the fine details about Human-Computer Interaction, and loving every bit of it! Prior to coming to Michigan, I also worked with Accenture for 3 years - gathering valuable experience in technology, managing teams and working closely with clients. Moving beyond my career interests, music forms a big part of my life. I love strumming my guitar and discovering new music. Photography is a newly-found love, and I hope to have a photoblog up someday soon. I also enjoy travelling, nature and creative writing. [Past Life] |
